Kimia (Urdu) Iranian Social Movie

Posted on 06:49 by tripal h
At the outbreak of the Iran-Iraq war, Reza's pregrant wife has to undergo a surgical operation. Reza arranges for his wife's hospi- talization and then leaves for the battlefront. Reza is captured by the enemy, while his wife dies at childbirth.
Shokuh, the obsterician, adopts Reza's baby, and when Reza is re- leased after nine years of captivity and finds out about the death of his wife, he starts searching for his daughter, Kimia. The dramatic tension of the story derives from the fact that Shokuh is deeply attached to kimia and can not bear to part with her.
Cast:
Khosro Shakibayi
Bita Farrahi
Reza Kianian
Zahra Oveissi
Kimia, the fourth film by Ahmad-Reza Darvish took by surprise all those who expected to see an ordinary movie. While all his three previous films gave been ordinary thrillers with ordinary subjects, Kimia showed a remarkable subject and treatment by the young director who started his career after the revolution.
His first film, The Last Flight, was about an Iranian pilot in the war against Iraq. That film had only the slightest touch of professionalism, an element lacking in his two other films, Lucifer and Lightning that were sheer thrillers. Bur Kimia was different.
The film begins with Iraq's attack on Khoramshahr and Abadan. Amidst the action and chaos a woman is giving birth to a child. in the meantime, her husband is captured by enemy troops and she dies after delivery. The doctor, a woman, has to take care of the newborn, a girl. The doctor devotes herself to rearing the kid she names Kimia. After nine years, the man returns from captivity and begins to look for his daughter...
Darvish has treated the melodramatic subject seriously. The film's opening sequence involving the war has a very professional making. Shot with a hand-held camera the opening sequence is one of the most brilliant of its kind in Iranian cinema. It is well coordinated and well executed and looks convincingly realistic thanks to good editing and special effects. This is probably the best war scene in all of Iranian cinema.
However, in the post-war scenes the film goes off rhythm and becomes more of a soap opera though still interesting enough. Here, emotional conflicts replace the inherent excitement of combat scenes.
Kimia was overwhelmingly welcomed by critics and jury members at the 13th Fajr festival. Except for the best make-up and best supporting actress categories, Kimia was a nominee for every single award of the festival; and finally won the ones for best acting as well as the jury's special prize and a diploma of honor for its screenplay.
A victim of the Iran-Iraq war struggles with a difficult dilemma when he must decide whether to claim his young daughter or leave her with the kind woman who raised her in this moving Iranian melodrama. The tale begins as the war rages around a small Iranian village. There Reza frantically searches for a car battery so he can rush his pregnant wife to a hospital.
Unfortunately, they arrive too late and she dies soon after bearing Reza's daughter. Reza isn't there for the birth because he had to rush back to save his family. He takes a wrong turn and ends up in the midst of fighting where he is captured and placed in a POW camp. Meanwhile back at the hospital, Shokuh, the surgeon who oversaw the birth, decides to raise the poor infant herself when the fighting erupts around the hospital. Later she flees and sees a smoldering corpse and she figures that it is Reza.
Nine years later, the father is finally released and goes in search of his daughter. He finds Shokuh and sees that Kimia, his daughter has been raised amidst wealth and safety. When Shokuh, a war widow, learns Reza's identity, she is naturally upset. Reza is upset too, for he can see that Kimia is happy. With such high stakes, both adults, wanting what's best for the child must struggle with their own desires and the painful realization that one of them must somehow live without Kimia.

Empty Hands Urdu Iranian Movie (Dasthaye Khali) Khali Hath

Posted on 05:09 by tripal h
Empty Hands is a complicated film about the aftermath of the Iraq- Iran war. Some of the intricacies of the plot will be lost on a western audience.
The film focuses on a mother and daughter, living with some tension. When the mother begins to act mysteriously, the daughter follows her. It emerges that the father-husband is being released from being a prisoner of war but has mental troubles. Eventually they care for the father and take him to a country town for recuperation.
In the meantime they have been receiving mysterious phone calls, threatening calls. It emerges then that there has been a clash between two military men and one holds the father responsible for the illness of his son and is determined to have revenge, an attempt made on the daughter’s life by the complainant’s daughter.
The film is highly emotional – reminding audiences of the impact of the war and its aftermath.
1.The impact of the drama? The Iran- Iraq war? Its aftermath? Violence during the war, subsequent violence?
2.Contemporary Iran, 21st century comfort, modern, affluent? Holiday homes? Food and dining? The memories of war – and the visual flashbacks?
3.An emotional film, style, performance? Social issues? The musical score?
4.The relationship between mother and daughter, the mother preparing the food, the widow? The mother going out, the daughter suspicious? The phone calls and the innuendo? The effect on the daughter, her being overwrought? Following her mother? The confrontation?
5.The memories of the father, the truth, his being a prisoner of war, illness, mentally disturbed? His return? Relationship with his wife? The joy at home, especially for the daughter? The meals? His spasms and his reversion? The holiday, the joy? The father’s character, upright? A commander?
6.The father and his trying to cope, the difficulties? Meeting his old friends and the memories of the war?
7.The holiday, the life for the family, visits?
8.The phone calls, the mysterious woman, the daughter meeting her, the confrontation? Her being stabbed? Who? Why? The daughter and her being arrested?
9.The father going to visit the grieving man with his son? The past bitterness? The phone calls, revenge? The helplessness of the son?
10.The father and his wife going to visit, the meeting and its impact, knowing the truth? The freeze-frame as the two leave? No effect? The meaning of the title?

The Flowing River (New Iranian Action Movie)

Posted on 02:23 by tripal h
New Iranian (Persian) Action Movie with Best Urdu Dubbing Quality ,, story is about Iran , Iraq War, attack of Iraq on a City known as Abadan........................................

In September 1980 Iraqi President Saddam Hussein launched a surprise attack against Iran and invaded Iranian territory on a broad front. Iraq's initial plan to attack Abadan Island called for an armored division to cross the Shatt al-Arab near Kharkiya on the road heading from Baghdad to Basra and then head south to capture the cities of Khorramshahr and Abadan. This division included 500-600 tanks as well as some special forces units for a total troop strength of 20,000 men.On November 3, Iraqi forces reached Abadan in Iran's Khuzestan province. Iranian resistance proved too strong, however, so Iraqi commanders called for reinforcements. A second, weakened armored division with a strength of approximately 4,500 men and 200 tanks was sent to cut off Abadan and surround the city from the northeast. These two Iraqi divisions faced an unknown number of Iranian troops. Most likely sources estimate that a single brigade defended Khorramshahr supported by two operational reserves located further northAlthough the Iraqis were repulsed by the Iranian Pasdaran unit, they managed to surround Abadan on three sides and occupy a portion of the city. However the Iraqis could not overcome the stiff resistance; sections of the city still under Iranian control were resupplied at night by boat. The Iraqis kept up a siege for several months, but never succeeded in capturing Abadan. Much of the city, including the oil refinery, was badly damaged or destroyed by the siege and by bombing. The Iranians forced the Iraqis to end the siege in September 1981.
Fayyaziyeh front was the main axis of the operation. Iranian units should have moved along the eastern banks of the Karoun River from south to north, cutting the Iraqi forces contact with the west of Karoun. Some Iranian forces were established in that front, from about 7 months earlier. Before the beginning of the operation, they had dug two tunnels. The first tunnel was dug on the left side of Arvandan Shipyards while the second tunnel was dug near Pasteurized Milk Factory, which continued up to Iraqi embankments. That front was so important that Seyed Rahim Safavi took the control of the operation along that axis.
When the operation began, the Iranian forces at Fayyaziyeh front encountered a big minefield which extended for about 500 meters. Mine experts started to sweep the field. However, the combatants in the right-side axis, who were commanded by Martyr Akbar Kamrani, broke the enemy line and started to advance. Qasabeh Bridge was conquered at 8:00. Afterwards, the Iranian forces at Fayyaziyeh front as well as at stations 7 and 12 attacked Ahwaz-Abadan road. Ahwaz-Abadan road was subsequently captured at early morning hours and this meant realization of all the objectives of Operation Thamen-ol-A’emmeh. The Abadan siege was broken and the enemy was forced into a derogatory retreat. Abadan had been liberated after a one-year siege.
The victory of the Muslim combatants in Operation Thamen-ol-A’emmeh had great repercussions both inside and outside Iran. Imam Khomeini sent a message in response to a telegram sent to him by military commanders saying:
“Major General Fallahi, Major General Zahirnejad, and Mr. Mohsen Rezaei; may God help you. I have received your telegram about the great victory that Almighty God has bestowed upon the Army, Air Force, Army helicopter units, revolutionary guards, Basij, gendarmerie, Devotees of Islam and other popular forces in breaking the siege of Abadan. I congratulate this great victory to all commanders, all personnel of the armed forces, esteemed soldiers and powerful revolutionary guards. I hope the honors they cause Islam and their homeland will be accepted by Imam Asr (AS) and I hope that the honorable nation of Iran would soon see the final victory, which is dispelling infidel invaders from our Islamic homeland in the near future. I, in the name of the great Iranian nation, thank the valiant combatants of the Army, revolutionary guards and other parts of the armed forces. I ask the Almighty God for triumph and glory of Islam and Muslims, especially the Islamic armed forces.”After that operation, commanders of the operation; that is, Major General Fallahi, Brigadier General Namjou, Brigadier General Fakouri, Yousef Kolahdouz, and Mohammad Jahanara (commander of revolutionary guards of Khorramshahr) visited the region and then boarded a C-130 military plane to fly to Tehran and present a comprehensive report of the operations to Imam Khomeini. Apart from the mentioned figures, the plane carried a number of the wounded combatants who were to be treated in Tehran. However, the plane crashed and five commanders along with the wounded combatants were martyred.
Operation Thamen-ol-A’emmeh came to an end and its victory took the Islamic Republic of Iran closer to more victories in the future.
By and by, the residants of Abadan went back to their city. Now everybody knew that it was the Khorramshahr turn to be liberated from the clutches of the enemy. Now, Abadan was the support line for the southern fronts. Finally, Khorramshahr was liberated on May 24, 1982; just nine months after the Abadan siege was broken. However, Abadan was still being hit by Iraqi artillery and mortar shells.
In early 1985 and following the glorious Operation Val Fajr 8 which led to liberation of Iraq’s Faw city, the enemy attacked Abadan and Khorramshahr by chemical bombs. At that time, the officials had no choice but to evacuate locals and civilians from Abadan. This also happened early next year and subsequent to Operation Karbala 5. Once again, the civilians had to leave Abadan.
From early hours of the beginning of the war until late August 1988, Abadan was never safe from the enemy’s grudge. Abadan is one of the cities which had hosted a big population of combatants who had saved many sweet and bitter memories from that city. The hospitable and warm-blooded people of Abadan had always been great encouragement to the Iranian combatants.
When the combatants intended to contact their families, they went to Abadan and called them through telecommunication facilities in the city. They had ice cream in summertime, bought freshly baked bread from bakeries and ate the famous soup of Abadan. Those who had money treated their friends to sea food.
After the end of war, people went back to their city. Hand in hand, they started to rebuild their city. The walls of churches and Imam Sadeq (AS) Mosque as well as Behbahani Mosque, which had been damaged by enemy shrapnel, were repaired. Abadan refinery started to work. The life was back in Abadan; the same thing that the enemy intended to rob the city.
Now, there is the statue of a running man in one of the main squares of Abadan. He is Darya Qoli; the man who caused failure of enemy’s nightly invasion through Zolfaqari neighborhood.
